Heating belts will warm without creating major hot spots on your fermenter.
We’ve chosen to go belts over pads for the simplicity of adjusting the height of the belt on your fermenter to increase or decrease the heat transfer.
We highly recommend using our belt with our – Temperature Controller for precise temperature control. If you’re fermenting in a fridge, you can also use the controller’s cooling function as well to control both the belt and the fridge.
temperature-controlled fermenting will drastically improve your brewing, as changes in temperature and high temperatures can alter and affect your beer taste creating off-flavors or even killing and infecting your yeast. in the summer lagers are brewed at 15-18 degrees. In winter stouts like 20 – 25 however, it all depends on what yeast you are using.
this controller can also be used to convert your fridge at home to a kegerator to help to lower the temperature your a cooler brew
