Spirit Filter System

Description

The spirts filter system is a dual filter system that uses both a ceramic filter and a carbon filter to easily and conveniently filter your spirts or water.
The system can be easily refiltered for a clean crispy brew.

• Equipped with Carbon and Ceramic Filters.
• The 14 Litre top tank can be topped up on a continuous basis

 

Instructions

• Unpack your filter and place the 2 filters (Ceramic and carbon) under water for 24 hours, This will clear the air pockets in the ceramic filter and swell the fine carbon particles

 

• Assemble the filter unit and fill the top tank with tap water, filter the water, if the filtered water is not perfectly clear (has a dark or brownish tint to it) continue to run water throught the filter until it is clear

 

• Empty the top and bottom tanks and rinse with tap water

 

• If filtering spirit the abv to be filtered should not be greater than 50%, djust with water if necessary

 

• Fill the top tank with spirits or water and allow to filter, top up as required, This is a slow process as a chemical reaction is taking place

 

• Fill bottles  from the lower tank as required

Note that package includes a mineralization cartridge (round cartdridge filled with various minerals)

This is for if you want to produce mineral water. DO NOT USE WHEN FILTERING SPIRITS.
